I was thrilled to find this hotel so close to the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park where I enjoyed breathtaking views during my strolls, and the welcoming staff made our stay an absolute delight as we stayed for 2 nights with our family and really appreciated the spacious room with a small kitchen to prepare snacks.

I loved the buffet breakfast that changed daily with great options and nice coffee. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and felt like home. I was impressed with the careful sanitation practices in the common areas!

The King Studio with Sofa Bed offered a functional layout, with an extension table that includes a power socket, making it convenient for charging laptops and devices. The nearby area features various restaurants and shops, allowing for easily accessible meals and snacks during your stay.

The bathrooms felt a bit dated, not exactly a design marvel. The air conditioner showed signs of needing maintenance but thankfully the issue got resolved quickly. A greater supply of handicapped accessible rooms could enhance the overall experience for diverse guests. The pull-out sofa wasn't in the best shape, with a mattress that sank noticeably, making it uncomfortable for sleeping. I also noticed that the floor in front of the elevator on the third floor felt unstable, which could be a concern.

Just a smart choice for a cursory stop in Poughkeepsie with very good value for money. Enjoyed playing pool, a nice touch after a long day. Tip, Check out the nearby diners for good meals.

Breakfast was a legit buffet wonderland—scrambled eggs, bagels, and good coffee! Plus, the room had a cozy dining area that felt like home. Poughkeepsie's dining gems, like the nearby Starbucks and IHop, are just a hop away for all your culinary explorations!

Only downside? The pull-out sofa was a total flop—sank like a bowl! Plus, more accessible rooms would be fab. And that breakfast should totally jam until 10am, right?
